Treatments drawn from the region we sit in — Tsavo's red earth, the shade of the baobab, the coffee of the highlands — taken slowly, beside the largest pool in the district.

The spa, pool and gym at Nagira sit together in the gardens and are open daily from 6:00am to 10:00pm. House guests use the pool and gym at no charge; visitors are welcome on a day pass at KES 1,300 on weekdays and KES 1,800 at weekends and public holidays, with KES 500 of either redeemable at the restaurant. Children aged 5 to 12 pay KES 500 any day, under-fives are free with a paying adult, and gym use is 16 and over. Spa treatments run from a 15-minute polish change at KES 800 to the Half-Day Tranquility journey at KES 14,500, taking in massages, facials, body treatments and three signature rituals drawn from the region. Treatments are by appointment with at least three hours' notice, longer for the signature rituals and journeys.
